Capability

AEI has in house capability to manufacture barrels from bore size 12.7mm up to 105mm. We can produce either constant or progressive rifling with left or right hand pitch.

* Machine is designed for machining rifling grooves in the internal walls of barrels. Number of grooves can be set using interchangeable templates.
* Built-on FORKHARDT F500 3-Jaw Chuck.
* 2 open roller-steadies, and 1 live and 1 stationary steady rest.
* Hydraulic copying device. * Separate switch cabinet.
* Separate hydraulic unit. * Hydraulic support for ball screw spindle (Ø 100 mm).
* BIELOMATIC Central Lubrication System. * Various change gears.
